Seoul: North Korea, a country known for its bizarre rules, laws, has issued a shoot-to-kill order in view of coronavirus infections. The claim has been made by a US army commander. The commander says North Korean authorities have issued shoot-to-kill orders to prevent the corona-infected person from entering Korea from China.
North Korea has not yet reported a single corona-infected case in the country. US Force Korea commander Robert Abrahams has disclosed about the order to 'shoot the infected person'. "North Korea has created a new buffer zone of one or two kilometres adjacent to the Chinese border," Robert Abrahams said at an online conference organized by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington.
The commander said "North Korea's Special Operations Force (SOF) have been deployed there. Shoot orders have been issued in view of the corona infected person. Pyongyang closed its border with China in January to try to curb the virus, and local media in July said it had raised its emergency to the maximum level.
