MUMBAI: A person who allegedly threatened on the social networking site has been arrested on Friday on the senior Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut. This person has claimed that he is a fan of actress Kangana Ranaut. A team of Mumbai Police arrested Palash Ghosh with the help of Kolkata Police for threatening Raut from his residence in Tollygunge in the early hours of Friday.

Ghosh warned Sanjay Raut on the social networking site to suffer "serious consequences". The Mumbai Police approached the Kolkata Police in the case and arrested Palash. A source has told that, "He will be produced before the city court where the Mumbai Police will request for a transit remand to take him to Mumbai."

When Mumbai was compared to Kangana Ranaut by Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), the verbal war between the Shiv Sena leader and Kangana intensified. Sanjay Raut had even called Kangana 'Haramkhor'. His comment was being severely criticized. Meanwhile, the BMC broke the office before Kangana returned to her home in Mumbai.
