The deadly coronavirus is wreaking havoc all around the globe. People are troubled by this virus. On the other hand, the new strain of Coovid-19 also wreaking its havoc. Many cases of this new strain are recorded in the country. But a good news has come up from Andaman and Nicobar that on January 10, no new case of coronavirus has been reported here in the last 24 hours.
A health department official said, there are a total of 4959 cases of infection in the Union territory and 62 people have died. He said that seven more people have been successfully treated after which the number of people who are infection-free has gone up to 4873. The official said that 24 infected in the state are getting their treatment and all are in South Andaman district.
As per the information received, no case of infection was reported in the islands on the 4th and 6th of January.
