Beijing: The Chinese Defence minister has slammed the United States amid the tensions caused by the South China Sea and Taiwan and the trade war, saying his country "will not allow others to harm or divide him." He specifically referred to the law of the United States and its Taiwan Relations Act, 1979, which allows the United States to provide defence weapons to the Taipei government and help protect the island from invasion. "How can the U.S. make a law to interfere in China's internal affairs?" Wei said in a question-tone. Does it make the slightest sense? "No country in the world will accept the sharing," Wei said, citing Abraham Lincoln's fight to keep the United States together during the Civil War.  The US is indivisible, and so is China.
