New Delhi: UIDAI CEO Saurabh Garg on Thursday said UIDAI is formulating a strategy that will hand-handedly get their Aadhaar card to the parents of the child born. Saurabh said hospitals will be allowed to register to provide Aadhaar cards to children born. He said that UIDAI will work closely with the Registrar of Berths to launch the scheme and talks are being held for the same.

Saurabh said Aadhaar cards will now be issued in regional languages in India soon. At present, the details given on Aadhaar card in India are in Hindi and English only. But now the aadhaar card will soon see the name and other details of the card holder in all regional languages like Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Oriya, Marathi.
