New Delhi: Data privacy and security are becoming a big issue in today's era. Its meaning is further increased when many cases of cyber-attack are coming up across the world. Cybersecurity firm Trustwave Spiderlabs has discovered the fishing campaign. In this, a ransomware infected (virus) file is sent to the window users via email. This file is sent as an update to Microsoft Windows 10. According to TechRadar's report, users should not open this file. This file is infected with Cyborg ransomware, but users should avoid opening it.

How to identify, know-

If you get an email that says 'Install Latest Microsoft Windows Update now!' Or 'Critical Microsoft Windows Update!' If written, do not click on any such file.

How can you save?

Even if you accidentally clicked on the link, you can be saved from getting your computer infected. The page that opens after clicking on the link will say, 'Please install the latest critical update from Microsoft attached to this email.' Do not install this file. This file can be with the JPG file extension, but it contains a .NET file rather than a photo that can install malware on your device.
