Lucknow: Dependents of deceased government servants are also being given jobs in the Industrial Development Authorities of the country. The State Government has decided to implement the Recruitment Rules 1974 (as amended) of the dependents of the deceased Government servant in the UP State Industrial Development Authority. Principal Secretary Infrastructure and Industrial Development Alok Kumar have said that in the event of death of government servants in government services, a member of his family is relaxing the rules in government service to overcome the financial hardship of the family. Arrangements have been made to appoint. But there is no such preparation in the Industrial Development Authority of the country.
Due to which the death of an employee of the Authority while in service, his family has to face severe financial troubles. In such a situation, to overcome the economic hardship of the families, the government has decided to give employment to a person of their family on humanitarian grounds in the event of death of the employees serving in the Industrial Development Authority.
It has been learned that the Additional Chief Secretary has said that these appointments are generally to be made only on such non-technical subordinate posts of Group C and D, whose maximum pay matrix of pay scale is level-4. These posts do not have to be reserved for promotion. The posts to be given to the dependents of the deceased servants of the Authority will be adjusted against the posts vacated by the employees who retire later. This order will not be applicable to the posts falling under the purview of Public Service Commission and Subordinate Services Selection Commission. This order has been sent to the Chief Executive Officers of all Industrial Development Authority.
