Market Watch: Three Adani Group equities have had their circuit limits decreased by Indian bourses in an effort to protect the funds of regular investors.

According to information on the BSE and NSE websites, the circuit limit for three Adani group stocks -- Adani Transmission, Adani Green Energy, and Adani Total Gas --has been reduced from 20% to 10%. BSE and NSE made this choice in response to the Adani stocks taking a beating over the previous three sessions after short-seller Hindenburg Research voiced concerns about the debt positions of Adani group firms.

Therefore, following the amendment of the circuit limit, the higher circuit limit for the Adani Transmission share price today on the BSE would be set at Rs. 1,881.10 per unit, while the lower circuit limit would be set at Rs. 1,539.10 levels. On the BSE, the share price of Adani Transmission finished the Monday session down 15% at Rs.1693.15 per unit.

Similar to how the circuit limit was reduced from 20% to 10%, Adani Green Energy's share price today will have an upper price band set at Rs. 1,306 per unit on the BSE and a lower price band set at Rs. 1,068.95 levels on the same exchange. On Monday during the BSE session, the share price of Adani Green Energy finished at Rs. 1187.70 per unit.
