Nuh-Haryana: In connection with the violence and rioting at Haryana's Nuh district on Monday, officials have made 156 arrests and filed 56 FIRs. The district has witnessed six confirmed deaths and 88 injuries so far, as reported by officials.
To restore normalcy, the curfew in Haryana's violence-hit Nuh district has been lifted for public movement from 9 am to 1 pm on Monday. Moreover, on Sunday, the curfew was also lifted from 9 am to 12 noon.
District Magistrate of Nuh stated, "Banks and ATMs will remain operational in the district until 3 pm today during the relaxation of the curfew."
As part of the efforts to quell the violence, illegal structures in the affected area are being razed. Allegedly, stones were pelted on a religious procession during the clashes. In response to the situation, Dhirendra Khadgata declared that the ban on the internet in the district will continue until things stabilize. He added, "The ban on the internet will remain in effect for now. Once we witness positive changes in the situation, we will lift it.
