Nupur Sharma, an Indian politician and former Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson (BJP), who is celebrating her 38th Birthday today, 22 April 2023. Recently, she was in the news for a controversial statement she made about the Prophet Mohammad.

Nupur Sharma was born on 23 April 1985 in New Delhi, India. He attended Delhi Public School for his primary education. She then went on to earn her BA and LLB degrees in Economics from Hindu College, University of Delhi. Since she was in college, she was involved in politics. 

She was elected in 2008 to the student section of the Sangh Parivar Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad because she was a good orator. Sharma continued her education in London, where she graduated with an LLM from the London School of Economics.

Nupur Sharma was seen as young and energetic, and she frequently appeared on television debates. She was expelled from the party in June 2022 for remarks she made about the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

 Nupur Sharma has been involved in politics since her college days and went on to become the President of the Delhi University Student’s Union (DUSU) on the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi ticket.

Nupur Sharma, an advocate by profession and the official spokesperson for the BJP’s Delhi unit, ran in the 2015 Delhi Assembly election from the high-profile New Delhi constituency against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief ministerial candidate Arvind Kejriwal.
