The famous Bengali actress Nusrat Jahan often remains in the headlines due to her films and statements. Recently, the actress and MP took to Twitter as her 'special friend' Yash Dasgupta joined the BJP and holding its flag in a five-star city on Wednesday afternoon. In her tweet, the Trinamool MP from Basirhat sharply targeted the BJP state president and Medinipur MP Dilip Ghosh. Nusrat posted a tweet of Dilip a few hours ago and wrote in the caption, "Shameful comment again."

Dilip on Wednesday afternoon took to Twitter and wrote, ‘People of TMC often says that since their leader is a woman, so, she is attacked and criticized but have you ever given a thought that how on this earth she being a woman can point her fingers & assassinate character of a woman?' Nusrat reprimanded Dilip Ghosh for posting such a tweet. Nusrat's comment on Dilip was made on January 31. On that day, BJP supporters snatched a poster from a woman protesting against CAA outside Jamia Millia University in Delhi. She was also harassed. Dilip commented on the incident and wrote, "Our men did the right thing. She should thank her stars that she was only heckled and nothing else was done to her." @BJP4Bengal State President Mr @DilipGhoshBJP assassinating the characters of women for protesting."
Trinamool MP Nusrat tweeted about Dilip's remarks along with Wednesday's tweet. She wrote, "Women are characterized in this way when they protest." At the end of the comment, she wrote, "Shameful comment again."
