Bhubaneswar: On Saturday, a special Bangalore police team assisted by the Chandrasekharpur police team in Bhubaneswar apprehended three inter-state fraudsters.
According to reports, the three fraudsters have duped job aspirants out of Rs 20 lakh by promising jobs in private software businesses. There are also claims that two Odia youngsters were among the three apprehended scammers, with the third crook being a Pune resident.
After receiving allegations of recurrent job frauds, the Bangalore police approached the Chandrasekharpur police to work together to apprehend the culprits. After arresting the scammers, Chandrasekharpur police turned them over to Bangalore police.
It should be mentioned that these three fraudsters have been on Bangalore police's most wanted list since 2018. The three suspects would be held on transit remand by the Bangalore police.
