Deogarh (83.75), Angul (82.6), Jharsuguda (82.1), Kalahandi (81.1), Subarnapur (81.56), Nabarangpur (80.54), and Koraput (80.54) are among the districts with more than 80% polling (80.2). Malkangiri, a Maoist stronghold, received 77.86 percent of the vote, according to the SEC.
The election was held for 200 Zilla Parishad seats in 71 blocks of the state, with 22,379 booths in 1,669 panchayats. Due to the death of contesting candidates, voting for 13 ward members, six sarpanches, three panchayat samiti members, and one ZP member was postponed.
