Let us tell you that the World Cup is to be hosted by Hockey India from 13 to 29 January 2023 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium with a capacity of 20,000 under construction in Rourkela.

16 teams, including India, will participate in the tournament, including the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Germany, Spain, France, Wales, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand and Australia. The remaining three teams will qualify for the World Cup after the Asia Cup 2022 to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 23 May to 1 June 2022. The Asia Cup is also a qualifier tournament for the Hockey World Cup 2023.
