Ola Roadster X Electric Bike in India: Ola Electric has launched its much-awaited Roadster X, the newest model to its electric motorcycle range. This bike has a sporty, attrative design and starts at Rs.74,999/- (ex-showroom).

Battery Options and Prices

The Roadster X comes in three battery variants:

1. The base model, priced at Rs.74,999, has a 2.5 kWh battery with a range of up to 140 kilometer on a single charge.
2. The mid-variant costs Rs.84,999 and features a 3.5 kWh battery offering a 196 km range.
3. The top model is priced at Rs.95,999, with a 4.5 kWh battery giving a range of 252 kilometer.

Ola also offers the Roadster X+ with two larger battery options:

A 4.5 kWh battery for Rs.1.05 lakh, offering a 252 kilometer range.

Features and Technology

The Roadster X is packed with modern features. It has a 4.3-inch LCD display, powered by Ola's MoveOS 5 system. Riders can turn-by-turn, over-the-air (OTA) updates, tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS), and advanced regenerative braking. The bike also offers 3 riding varients- namely -  SPORTS, NORMAL, & ECO.

The Roadster X plus adds more features like reverse mode, energy insights, and improved regenerative braking.

Performance and Safety

The Roadster X is powered by a single electric motor delivering 9.38 Brake Horsepower. The top speed depends on the battery:

• The 2.5 kWh model can reach 105 km per hout
• The 3.5 kWh version peaks at 118 km per hour.
• The 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh models go up to 125 km per hour.

For safety, it has alloy wheels, front disc and rear drum brakes, a Combi Braking System (CBS), and brake-by-wire technology. It features telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks for smooth rides.

Roadster Pro: The Premium Model

At the top of the range is the Roadster Pro. It comes with a powerful 52 kW motor and delivers 105 Nm of torque. The 16 kWh battery can accelerate from 0-40 km per hour  in just 1.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 194 km per hour. It offers a range of 579 kilometer.

The Roadster Pro may feature a 10-inch TFT touchscreen, upside-down (USD) forks, dual-channel switchable ABS, and four riding modes namely HYPER, SPORT, NORMAL, & ECO, with two customizable modes.
