New Delhi: Ola has set a new record of selling its electric scooter (Ola Electric scooter). The company has sold its S1 electric scooters worth Rs 600 crores in a single day. This was stated by the company's founder Bhavish Aggarwal in a tweet from his official Twitter handle.

He has told in his tweet that Ola has sold e-scooters worth Rs. 600 crores in a single day i.e. on 15th September. The company claims that it has sold 4 OLA S1 electric scooters every second. With this, the company has touched the sales order of 86 thousand scooters, which in itself is a big record in the automobile industry. Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has written in his tweet that, 'India is committing to EVs and rejecting petrol! We sold 4 scooters/sec at peak & sold scooters worth 600Cr in a day! Today is the last day, the purchase will shut at midnight. So lock in this introductory price and buy on the Ola app before we sell out!'

CEO Bhavish Aggarwal further wrote in his tweet that 'Today is the last date for buying Ola scooter, i.e. Thursday, September 16, is the last date for booking Ola electric scooter, you can buy it till late tonight, but the booking will stop after 12 o'clock.'
