Bahraich: The collector's office in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh on Monday witnessed happiness in the moist eyes of 70-year-old Jumman. In fact, Collector Dinesh Chandra Singh handed over a copy of Khatauni to Jumman, who had died 4 years ago in the government document, confirming that he was alive in the revenue records. Due to this, the son of the victim expressed his gratitude to the collector of the district while praising the CM of the state.

It may be noted that Samadhan Diwas was organized on last January 20 in Mahsi tehsil premises of the district. Collector Dinesh Chandra Singh was heading over it. He was listening to the problems of the complainants present there one by one. Meanwhile, 70-year-old Jumman of village Padohiya of Tehsil area reached in front of the collector and said emotionally, "Sir, I am still alive, but your accountant has killed me in the land documents. Not only this, the names of others have been registered on our land."

After listening to Jumman's words, the Collector ordered the Naib Tehsildar present there to investigate the matter and submit the report within 24 hours. The investigation started on the order and was completed in 24 hours. In this, Jumman was proved right. After the report of the Naib Tehsildar, the Collector, taking a strict stand in this matter, directed departmental action against the Lekhpal involved in the fraud and ordered to re-register the name of Jumman, who was declared dead in Khatauni. After getting his father's name back in Khatauni, Jumman's son told that someone else name was registered in Khatauni after showing his father as dead. Now, because of the Collector and the Chief Minister, he has got back the papers of his land. I thank him for this. Collector Dinesh Chandra Singh said that according to the intention of the CM, it is his priority to provide speedy justice to the victim in any situation. This issue has now been corrected in 24 hours which was pending for the last four years.
