Nepal's PM KP Sharma Oli, who was badly stranded in domestic politics, has again called the areas of Hindustan to divert the attention of the people of his country. Oli said that he would get back from India to Kalapani, Limpiyadhura, and Lipulekh region. Oli triggered a border row last year after which his government came out with a new political map that showed Indian territories as part of Nepal, now the foreign minister-level talks between the two countries on the border dispute are also going to be held.
Nepalese PM, who was trapped in China's clutches, made this attempt to incite India in his address to the National Assembly. Oli said that the withdrawal of these three areas is the most important task on the agenda of External Affairs Minister Pradeep Gyavali, who is going to India to discuss the border dispute. At the invitation of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Gyawali is likely to arrive in Hindustan on January 14 to attend the 6th Nepal-India Joint Commission meeting at the level of External Affairs Minister.
Oli said that as per the Sugauli agreement, Kalapani, Limpiyadhura, and Lipulekh are located in the east of Mahakali River and part of Nepal. We are going to have diplomatic talks with India and our foreign ministers are also going to India. Today, we are facing difficulties in taking back our land, because after the Indo-China War in 1962, when the Indian armed forces started building their havens in these areas, the Nepalese rulers did not try to take back these areas. Continuing, Oli said that some people had said that after Nepal had shown these three areas in its map, its relationship with India could have deteriorated, but nothing happened. Now, there is a dialogue with India on the basis of friendship. He said Nepal will continue to take back its land at all times.
