Famous Bengali star couple Om Sahani and Mimi Dutta are going to tie the knot on February 3. Talking about his special day, Om said, “Both the functions od wedding and reception are on February 3. Earlier, we were planning to go to Europe for our honeymoon but due to the current situation, we are not sure about the destination. Many people even asked me why we are getting married during such a time. For this, my answer is, there is no guarantee that things will improve at the end of this year also, so why delay?”
Talking about their love story and first meeting the actor said that they met on the sets of Alor Basa for the first time in which they played the lead roles. Om further said, during shoot, we started liking each other but never expressed our feelings. After the film, we slowly lost touch and only use d to wish each other on occasions. We started reconnecting at the end of 2017 and started meeting and later we decided t get married.
Earlier, the lovebirds surprised their fans with grand news on the first day of 2021. The couple had a registry marriage in presence of the family members and close friends. Om and Mimi shared the news on social media by sharing adorable pictures of the ceremony. Talking about the work front, Om recently completed the shooting of Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s film 'Lockdown'. In this film, he will share the screen with actors like Soham, Srabanti, Manali and others which is based on pandemic and lockdown.
