Instagram, which was launched at the level of the photo-sharing platform, has now become a very short video platform. The entire focus of Instagram is now on her short video reels. Now the news is that Instagram is going to shut down the IGTV app. The company said in a statement that it may shut down its video sharing platform IGTV app. The IGTV app was launched by Instagram in 2018. In the meantime, the company had introduced the IGTV app in comparison to YouTube, but now after about 4 years, the company is closing it. The format of the IGTV app was vertical.

The company wants to focus on Reels: In 2020, after the ban of Chinese short video app TikTok in India, Instagram launched Reels. Today, Reels has become the leading short video platform in the Indian market. Regarding Reels, the company has recently said that it is going to release the advertising feature for it soon, after which the earnings of reels creators have also started to increase. At the moment, no facility like monetization with Reels has been introduced so far. According to the company, the video of Reels is soon getting to see the ad.

Reels launched in 150 countries last month: Facebook has launched its short video platform Reels in 150 countries just last month. Meta had released the information through the blog. Meta has said that it is also going to launch new features for the earning of creators. According to Meta, the reels users will be given a bonus.  

Along with which advertisements will be shown in the middle of the video which is going to be in the form of banners and stickers. Full screen ads in Reels are also set to be released soon. Facebook users are also going to get to see The Reels soon. There is a possibility that Reels should be launched in place of Facebook's Stories feature. Users can also see reels as a decoration in the News Feed.
