On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at a webinar about the initiatives made in the Union Budget 2022-23 related to the electronics and information technology sector. On March 2, the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA), in collaboration with numerous scientific ministries and departments of the Indian government, will host a webinar themed "Technology-enabled development," the Ministry of Electronics and IT announced on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister will address the plenary 1/inaugural session to kick off the webinar. Four thematic breakaway sessions will be held during the second part of the webinar. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), and the Department of Science and Technology will each lead one of these thematic sessions (DST).
The Indian government is hosting a series of webinars in several industries to help with the proper execution of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's pronouncements in the Union Budget 2022. The webinar series "brings professionals from the public and private sectors, academia, and industry together on a single platform to brainstorm implementation ideas across sectors," according to the ministry.
