New Delhi: The threat of omicron variants in the country has started increasing rapidly amid the coronavirus war. Now, the cases of omicrons are increasing every day and it has raised everyone's concern. The State Governments along with the Centre have started taking stringent steps amidst the growing threat of omicrons. Amidst all this, the Omicron Variant has spread its footprint in 11 States of the country.

After Telangana and West Bengal, Now, after Telangana and West Bengal, Omicron has also knocked in Tamil Nadu. Now, the risk is rapidly increasing in the Southern States. According to recent information, a 47-year-old man from Chennai has been found infected with the Omicron variant. He is said to have recently returned from a trip to Nigeria. State Health Minister Subramanian has informed that the first case of omicron has come to light in Tamil Nadu. 2 new cases were reported in Hyderabad. Omicron cases have also been reported in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala in the southern states. The first case of Omicron came to light from Kerala, after which 4 more new cases have come to light last Wednesday. A total of five cases have reportedly been registered in Kerala of Omikrun following the four new cases.

In fact, Kerala had also shown a lot of influence in the second wave of the corona, which has raised concerns over the cases of omicrons. Let me tell you that the Omicron variant in the country has so far spread to 11 States. This time also, Maharashtra is the worst affected state. A total of 32 omicron infected cases have been reported here so far. In Rajasthan, 17 children were also found infected in Delhi, 5 in Kerala, 4 in Gujarat, 3 in Karnataka, 2 in Telangana, one in West Bengal. In addition, 1 case has been reported in Chandigarh and 1 case in Tamil Nadu.
