In a directive to its 194 member states, the Un (UN) body WHO asked them to keep the vaccination campaign fast. WHO said Omicron has too many mutants. There are some of them who can make big explosions. However, WHO also said that research will have to be conducted on the possibility of overcoming the immunity from the Omicron vaccine. WHO said more information about the same will be revealed in the next few short moments, which will make the picture more clear.
Meanwhile, epidemiologists estimate that by the end of this week, Omicron variants in S.Africa could lead to up to 10,000 new cases per day. This is a very big figure in view of the population of South Africa. Dr Salim Abdul Karim, an expert at S Africa, said, "We estimate that by the end of this week, we can reach close to 10,000 cases per day. '
