The new Omicron variant of the coronavirus has created havoc all over the world. So far, 346 cases of this variant have been reported in India. Maharashtra (88) and Capital Delhi (57) have recorded the highest number of cases in the list. In the meantime, Dr Suresh Kumar of Delhi's Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital (LNJP) said, "Patients infected with omicron variants do not need to be kept in the hospital for a long time.'' Yes, at the same time, he has also informed that a total of 34 patients infected with omicron were admitted in LNJP, out of which 18 have been discharged.
At the same time, Dr Suresh says that all the patients admitted to the hospital were fully vaccinated. There were two patients who had a booster dose while living in England. 15-18 suspects are being brought from the airport daily to this hospital. He also says that most of the omicron infected have recovered and have been discharged. No serious symptoms have been observed in its patients so far. In 90 per cent of omicron cases, there were no symptoms or treatment. We admitted him to the isolation ward and monitored him continuously.
