Dehradun: The new variant of Corona is spreading at a rapid pace. The variant is also not taking the name of stopping in India amid the frightening warnings about Omicron day in and day out. Nine new cases of omicrons have been reported in Gujarat on Wednesday in a single day. A total of 23 cases have been received in Gujarat so far. The total cases of Omicron in India have reached 238. According to the agency, Uttarakhand's Director General of Health, Tripti Bahuguna said that a 23-year-old woman who had recently returned from Scotland has tested positive for Omicron. The woman, a resident of Kawli Road, had returned from Scotland to Delhi on December 8. Her RT-PCR test at the airport came back negative. That day she had come to Dehradun by car with her parents, but when tested again, it turned out to be positive.
The same woman has been kept in isolation at her house. A medical kit has been provided. It has also been asked to strictly follow corona rules. Bahuguna said the district monitoring unit is constantly monitoring it. Samples of her parents have also been sent for the test.
