New Delhi: Like last year, the corona virus has started disrupting Christmas and New Year celebrations. The state governments are already gearing up for the new variant Omicron corona virus. The impact of corona's new variant has started showing in Delhi, after which there will be no more Christmas and New Year celebrations in the capital. The DDMA has issued an order on Wednesday in this regard.

In the order of the DDMA, DM and DCP will ensure that the crowd does not gather in their respective localities. The order directed all district magistrates to survey the super spreader areas of their respective areas and increase enforcement there. Also, no masks/no entries at shops/offices should be strictly ensured. It may be recalled that the number of new corona cases in Delhi is on the rise.

A few days ago, delhi was registering less than 50 corona cases every day, while now the number has gone up to 100. 102 new cases were reported in Delhi on Tuesday. The corona infection rate during this period was 0.2 per cent. With the death of a patient due to corona infection on Tuesday, the total number of corona deaths in Delhi has reached 25,102.
