Mumbai: A shocking video has recently surfaced from Mumbai which has made everyone lose their senses. The leopard has once again attacked under the information received in the case. However, there are frequent cases of leopard attacks from Mumbai. Just two days ago, the leopard had unsuccessfully tried to attack and take a child away, after which the leopard has suddenly attacked a woman sitting on the verandah of her house in the Aarey Dairy Colony in the Goregaon area of Mumbai. The 55-year-old woman was reportedly sitting with wood in her hand and the woman beat the leopard with a stick without fear.

 

The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras and now the video of the same incident is fast going viral. After watching this video, people are praising the bravery of the elderly woman. According to the information received, the elderly woman who was attacked by the leopard has been identified as Nirmala Ram Badan Singh (55 years). You can see in CCTV footage Nirmala Singh is sitting on the verandah of the house and the leopard attacks. On the other hand, the woman uses her stick to drive away the leopard.

On the other hand, Gajanan Hire, in charge of Thane Forest Division, who looks after Aarey Colony, said, "Looking at the claw marks, there are clear indications that the attack was carried out by a sub-adult leopard. Leopard attacks have increased in the area over the past few days. The forest department has installed about 10 cameras around all such areas. We have ordered more camera traps to find out how many adult leopards are there in the area.''
