The Ola S1 electric scooter, which the business introduced on August 15 as a more affordable version of its S1 Pro electric scooter, saw approximately ten times as many sales during Dussehra as compared to other days. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal shared the information on Twitter and said, "First Dussehra for our S1 today, and what a great greeting by everyone! about ten times the average sale day.

He continued by noting that the S1's strong sales record demonstrates that the nation is prepared to usher in the age of electric vehicles and put an end to the age of combustion engines.  “India is ready to #EndICEAge and go electric!" he wrote.

The S1 electric scooter's buying window was opened by Ola Electric on September 1 and delivery started on September 7. The electric scooter is based on the same technology as the S1 Pro, which was released last year and has already generated 70,000 sales for the company.

The 3kWh electric motor that powers the Ola S1 electric scooter gives it a range of 141 kilometers on a single charge. It has three riding modes; the environmental mode has a range of 128 km, while the usual mode has a range of 101 km. It can travel 90 km in Sports mode on a single battery. A top speed of 90 kmph is stated to be possible.

Aggarwal also revealed that the business has great plans for its debut event this month in a different tweet. Will at least two years faster the #EndICEAge revolution, he continued.

Additionally, Ola Electric is providing a holiday discount on the S1 Pro electric scooter, which can be purchased at a flat price of 10,000. The window for the holiday sale has already opened.
