Nalgonda MP Uttam Kumar Reddy said the general budget presented on Monday was disappointing. He said that Telangana was completely ignored in the annual budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament.
Uttam Kumar Reddy, during a conversation with journalists, alleged that the BJP government was misusing the state treasury for political gains. The election states have allocated more funds in the budget for West Bengal, Tamil Nadu etc. while other states have been completely ignored.
He said the BJP government was doing a serious injustice in the allocation of funds between the states. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that if the same tradition is continued, the states will get funds only during the elections.
Bjp MPs elected from Telangana, including BJP state president Bandi Sanjay, have lashed out at Telangana BJP leaders for not funding Telangana in the Union Budget. At least now, Telangana BJP leaders should avoid big statements that mislead the people.
