Today is Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta's birthday and she has turned 38. Tanushree Dutta was born on March 19, 1984, in Jamshedpur. In 2004, when Tanushree Dutta was 20 years old, she won the title of Femina Miss India Universe and in the same year, she made it to the top 10 in the Miss Universe beauty pageant. After which she chose acting and made her Bollywood debut in the year 2005 with the movie Chocolate, but she got recognition from the film Aashiq Banaya Aapne. In this movie, Tanushree appeared in a bold style and started to be recognized as a bold actress. Apart from this, Tanushree has appeared in movies like 36 China Town, Raqeeb, Dhol, Risk, Speed, and Apartment.

In 2013, Tanushree said that she was abused on the sets of the movie Horn OK in the year 2008, due to which she went into depression due to which she decided to take a break from work.

Spent days at Ashram: Media reports say that Tanushree spent the initial one and a half years in the ashram. After which she moved to Ladakh where she learned Buddhist meditation-related breathing techniques, which helped her come out of depression. She also advised them to meditate. Tanushree says that due to the Buddhist monastery in Ladakh, she got a normal life again.

Shaved Hair: In the midst of her spiritual journey, Tanushree had shaved her hair. She had said that during this journey, she met many sannyasins, inspired by whom she decided to shave her head. It wasn't easy for her to do that, though she did. She said that when I saw myself in the mirror, I was scared. Till a few minutes ago, I was a glamour icon and now I am standing here like this. She said that her mother was also angry when her hair was removed.  

The decision to return to Bollywood: While living in the ashram and living a spiritual life, Tanushree's attitude towards life changed a lot and she decided to work in Bollywood once again. While living a spiritual life, her weight had also increased a lot and started to look very different from before. Now she has lost up to 15 kg and wants to work in movies once again.
