Madhepura: Former MP and Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) chief Rakesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav's statement has created a ruckus. A video of him has surfaced in which he is addressing the public in Madhepura and saying that he will give a reward of one lakh to anyone who shoots the killer of the watchman. All parties including JD(U), RJD, and BJP have condemned Pappu Yadav's controversial statement.

In Madhepura, watchman Gurudev was shot dead by criminals four days ago. JAP leader Pappu Yadav came out in his support. He said that the government should order shoot and sight against the culprits in this case. He announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for anyone who shoots the killer.

All parties in Bihar have condemned Pappu Yadav's statement. BJP spokesman Santosh Pathak said in a discussion with the media that the Nitish government should catch the killer of the watchman and punish him. Along with this, action should also be taken on Pappu Yadav's statement. JD(U) leader Abhishek Jha said that strict action is being taken against the culprits. But Pappu Yadav's statement is not acceptable. The person responsible should avoid such decrees. RJD spokesman Ajaz Ahmed said Pappu Yadav was making such statements for cheap popularity, which is not appropriate. Bihar Congress spokesperson Kuntal Krishna said the law is supreme in the grand alliance government. Politicians are expected not to go against the law and make any statements.
