New Delhi: The coronavirus epidemic continues to wreak havoc in the country. There is still a section which is not taking the seriousness of this issue and is not showing interest in adopting a very important measure like social distance. According to official figures, 606 people have been infected in the country so far and 12 people have lost their lives. Maharashtra is most affected by the virus where so far 124 cases have been registered.

A 65-year-old man has died of the disease in Hyderpora, Srinagar. The investigation report of four people who came in contact with them also came positive on Wednesday. Jammu and Kashmir Principal Secretary (Planning Commission) Rohit Kansal gave information in this regard. On the other hand, five positive cases have been registered in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. The number of infected patients has increased to 20 in Madhya Pradesh.

The coronavirus has also knocked in the state of Goa adjacent to Maharashtra. According to information given by the state health ministry, reports of three suspected patients have been found positive here. The infected include a 25-year-old man, a 35-year-old man and a 55-year-old elderly. The trio have returned to India, traveling from Spain, Australia and the US respectively.
