Mumbai: One person has been killed in a bomb blast in Raigad district of Maharashtra. The grenade exploded near Nizampur in Mangaon Taluke. A ten-year-old boy was also seriously injured in the accident. The child's mother also suffered injuries. This incident took place on Tuesday (November 23rd) at 11 a.m. Police have recovered 25 bombs from the spot.

Sandesh Adivasi Chauhan (45) died on the spot. Sandesh's wife's name is Majinabai Sandesh Chauhan (40) and son's name is Satyam Sandesh Chauhan (10). All of them are residents of Birahalli village in Rithi Taluke in Katani district of Madhya Pradesh. Adjacent to the route of Channat area of Nizampur is a village called Mashidwadi. The Dhamani river flows through this village. The Chauhan family lives in a small hut in the field on the banks of the same river. Sandesh Chauhan died after a bomb exploded suddenly in his hand. Sandesh had suffered serious injuries on his hand and entire body.

Son Satyam has also been seriously injured. Satyam's mother and Sandesh's wife Majenabai also sustained injuries. The critically injured Satyam was admitted to Upazila hospital in Mangaon Taluke. But in view of the seriousness of his condition, he was first given first aid, then taken to MGM Hospital in Panvel. Police are currently ascertaining how these bombs came here.
