Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared an old post in which actress Priyanka Chopra has said that women should make their own decisions. Samantha shared a clip of Priyanka at the Forbes Women's Summit in 2018 on Instagram Stories. Where Priyanka Chopra said in this video, "Women should make a noise like this. Women should wear it. Women should get married at this time. We are always told what we should do. We should be able to decide what we should do. Give me the ability to make my own decisions without judging me. Exactly the same kind of freedom men have had for so long."

Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared the clip without adding any captions. The post was originally shared on Instagram via Women Who Lead Empire. While reacting to Priyanka, a fan commented, "He has said nothing but facts." Another person wrote, "I love her. She is very strong."

This was not the first time Samantha has supported Priyanka. Last month, she also reacted to Priyanka's roast of her husband, singer Nick Jonas, in the Netflix comedy special Jonas Brothers Family Roast.

Samantha shared a video of stories originally posted on her account through Priyanka Chopra on her social media account. Samantha had added the word 'amazing!' and also put stickers on the post. You can see Priyanka said in the clip, "I am honoured and thrilled in reality and I never remember the names of my husband, Nick Jonas and his brothers.''

''I come from India which is a country rich in culture, music and entertainment. So clearly, the Jonas brothers didn't make it there." The show was released amid rumours of Priyanka and Nick's wedding.  Earlier in October, Samantha and her husband, actor Naga Chaitanya, announced their separation. The two had issued statements on their respective social media accounts.

Speaking to Filmfare recently, Samantha had said, "I know I'm still going to live my life and with all the matters that I'm now facing in my personal life, I wondered how strong I was. I thought I was a much weaker person. I thought that with my separation, I would break down and die. I didn't think I was able to be so strong. Today I am very proud of how strong I am because I didn't do it in reality."
