New Delhi: E-commerce website Myntra seems to be surrounded by difficulties. Actually, the reason for the company's problem is its logo, which is being described as 'objectionable' for women. A case has also been filed in this case with the Mumbai Cyber Crime Police, after which the company has decided to change the logo.

According to the information received, Naaz Patel of the NGO Avesta Foundation filed a case in Mumbai Cyber Cell during December 2020 in this case. She demanded the removal of this logo of Myntra. Simultaneously, asked to take appropriate action against the company. Naaz Patel raised the matter on several platforms of social media and also in different forums. Rashmi Karandikar, DSP of the Cybercrime Department of Mumbai Police, said that during the investigation, we found Myntra's logo objectionable towards women.

Myntra was then contacted via email, after which company officials came and met us. The company had sought a month's time to change the logo. According to the information, Myntra has taken a big decision after objecting to the logo. The company says that the logo will soon be changed on its website and mobile app. Apart from this, the logo will also be changed on the packing material. For this, packing material with a new logo has been delivered for printing.
