There has been some relief on Friday amid the ever increasing cases of corona infection in Mahakal city of Madhya Pradesh. Reports of 185 samples have been received throughout the day, out of which only 2 confirmed corona infection. Although the figure of the dead has increased. After another death was recorded, the number of patients who lost their lives due to Covid-19 in the district reached 56. The total number of infected is 660. However, after the recovery of 318 patients, there are now 286 active patients left in the district. All these have been kept in hospitals or quarantine centers.

Cases of corona infection have been increasing rapidly in Ujjain during the month of May. In the last 11 days, 298 new cases were reported. Of these, 296 cases came between May 19 and May 28. Followup of many areas has also been taken. Sampling was done when symptoms were found, in which more than 100 new cases were found. However, contact histories of suspected patients and positive cases are still being extracted and samples taken.
