On the occasion of the 140th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda has released the teaser of his film 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar'. In the teaser, he is being well-liked in the role of Veer Savarkar. This film is made on the life of the great freedom fighter Veer Savarkar. From burning holi of foreign objects to being tortured a lot by the British, it will depict everything. Through this film, Randeep Hooda is stepping into the world of direction for the first time.

 

Not only this, he is also producing this film with Anand Pandit and the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film have also been written by Randeep Hooda along with Utkarsh Naithani. While releasing the teaser of the film, he has also put the tagline of 'Who Killed His Story', i.e., 'Who suppressed the story of Veer Savarkar?'  In the background, Randeep Hooda's voice echoes, 'The freedom struggle lasted for 90 years. And this battle was fought by a few people, the rest were hungry for power. Gandhiji was not bad, but if he had not stuck to his non-violent thinking, India would have been free 35 years ago. '

In this film, the punishment of freedom fighter Savarkar in Kalapani has also been portrayed poignantly. They are depicted in handcuffs in the darkness of the dungeon. He is portrayed by the British as the 'Most Wanted', a revolutionary whom the British feared the most. It is also shown how he was chained and brutally beaten in jail. He has been described as a personality who inspired Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose and Subhash Chandra Bose.  

Veer Savarkar is depicted as the freedom fighter who inspired the armed revolution. In the end, Randeep Hooda in the role of Veer Savarkar says that Mulnayavan was also a golden Lanka, but if it is about someone's freedom, whether it is the rule of Ravana or the British rule, then it will happen. Along with this, the chants of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Vande Mataram' are also echoed in the teaser. Although the release date of this film has not been revealed yet, it has been told that it will come this year.
