Ranchi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Yadav do not need an introduction. From last year, he has been struggling on the legal front as well as from health problems. Lalu Yadav has been in trouble since he was convicted in the fodder scam case. Lalu has been admitted to the private ward of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Hospital in Ranchi for a year. Lalu was admitted to the RIMS on August 30 last year.

Dr AK Jha, who overlooks Lalu's health at the hospital, said that he has undergone 7 operations to remove boil-abscess from his body. From last Sunday he was suffering from pain due to blisters emerging again under his back. He couldn't lay down on the bed properly. The doctors then decided to perform minor surgery again to remove the blister. On Wednesday evening, Dr Sandeep Kumar underwent surgery.

Lalu Yadav's blood pressure (BP) is also a matter of concern for RIM's physicians. According to Dr Jha, Lalu Yadav's blood pressure is being closely monitored. The doctors have been instructed to measure their blood pressure thrice a day.
