New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has announced the introduction of corona vaccination for children between the ages of 15-18 years from January 3. Not only this, pre-caution doses will also be introduced from 10th January as a precautionary measure to health workers, frontline workers, and people above 60 years of age suffering from other serious diseases. On the one hand, Prime Minister Modi's decision is being appreciated everywhere. On the other hand, the Opposition has started taking credit for this initiative. The opposition says their repeated emphasis has forced Prime Minister Modi to take the decision.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on the decision that the PM has accepted his suggestion. He tweeted, "The Central Government has accepted my suggestion of booster dose. This is the right step. The safety of vaccines and boosters has to be conveyed to the people of India. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had written on Twitter, "Most of our population is still not vaccinated. When will the Government of India start giving booster shots?''

On the other hand, TMC MP Mahua Moitra also joined the race for credit. She tweeted, "Respected PM Modi Ji listened to me and finally announced a booster dose for frontline workers and those above 60 years of age. However, when the opposition took credit, people questioned them. In view of the growing crisis of omicrons, Prime Minister Modi has decided to immunize children.
