New Delhi: The threat of a third wave of corona continues in the country. Meanwhile, 816 new cases of corona have been registered in Odisha in the last 24 hours, while 69 people have lost their lives. With this, the number of active cases in the state has increased to 8,271. According to the data released by the state government, out of 816 new cases, 291 and 116 cases have been reported in Khurda and Cuttack.

At the same time, after 69 new deaths, the total number of deaths in the state has increased to 7,697. With this, 764 people were recovered from Corona in the state on Friday, after which the total number of recovered patients increased to 9,88,854. If we talk about the figures of corona in the country, then 44,658 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in India. While 496 patients died during the last 24 hours. After the arrival of new cases, the total number of corona patients in the country has now increased to 3,26,03,188. Whereas after the death of 496 patients, the death toll from the infection has reached 4,36,861.

The Union Health Ministry said that the active cases of coronavirus in the country have now increased to 3.44 lakh, which is 1.06 percent of the total cases. According to the Ministry of Health, 32,988 people have also been cured of corona in the last 24 hours, after which the number of people who have recovered from corona so far has increased to 3,18,21,428 in the country. At the same time, the number of active cases is 3,44,899.
