Raipur: Capital Raipur has become a possibility of the cold wave again once the weather is clear in other states. The same cold wave continued in Durg and Bilaspur on Monday. Due to the dry air coming from the north, severe cold can remain in the state for the next few days. On the same night, due to the cold air moving, night temperatures in many cities of the state have gone below normal levels. The mercury has reached the lowest 7.8 degrees in Pendrarod. The temperature here has been five degrees below normal. In Ambikapur too, it was 8.2 degrees. The minimum temperature in the fort was 9.4 degrees, which is seven degrees below normal. The normal night temperature in Rajnandgaon, adjacent to the fort, was up to 15 degrees, the same had fallen to 10 degrees on Monday.
The Raipur Rajdhani is also getting cold. The same Sunday and Monday night were the coldest nights of February this year as the mercury reached 12 degrees. This is four degrees below normal. According to Meteorologist HP Chandra of Lalpur Weather Center, the process of dry air will continue in the state. With the arrival of dry air, there will be some moisture in the atmosphere. The same morning, there is dense fog in some areas of North Chhattisgarh on Tuesday morning, in some areas like Raipur, Bilaspur and some parts of Surguja division, a cold wave is also expected on Tuesday.
Due to the changing trend of the weather, it is getting cold in the night as well as in the day. In most of the places, the day temperature is four to five degrees below normal and the maximum temperature was 27.4 degrees in the fort. Which is two degrees less than normal. The day's temperature was the lowest at 21 degrees Ambikapur, which is five degrees below normal. Night temperatures in Jagdalpur, Bilaspur, Mana Airport and Raipur are also four to five degrees below normal. Because of this, these cities are feeling very cold even during the day.
