Oxygen Express will deliver 'Oxygen' from Bengal to Delhi, Railway Minister informed

New Delhi: Medical oxygen tankers have been dispatched from Durgapur in West Bengal to Delhi on Indian railways' oxygen express. Briefing reporters via Twitter, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that this special railway train is strengthening the country in the fight against the corona epidemic. He also informed that the medical oxygen has come from Singapore with the help of the Indian Air Force which is now being sent to Delhi.

The country is constantly facing a shortage of medical oxygen in the battle from the corona. The capital, Delhi, has also faced the problem of shortage of medical oxygen before the Central Government several times and the same is the case with many other states. Indian Railways has introduced an oxygen express train to ensure the supply of medical oxygen to all essential places. The train is being run to transport tankers full of oxygen from one state to another.

Indian Railways has also expanded its 'Oxygen Express' after Haryana and Telangana to Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Delhi to strengthen the country in the war with the second wave of the corona. Railways are also using route mapping to provide maximum clearance in the route. The third phase of vaccination has also started on May 1 in several districts of 6 states of the country.
