New Delhi: Opposition is constantly attacking the central government regarding the farmers' movement on the borders of Delhi, the capital of the country. On Saturday, veteran Congress leader P Chidambaram has accused the government of treating farmers like enemies. At the same time, he has criticized PM Modi for talking to farmers. Along with this, he has also questioned the three new agricultural laws of the Center.

On Saturday, P. Chidambaram wrote that 'farmers who are performing in regard to the agricultural sector are being treated as if they are enemies of the state after 3.9 percent growth in the year of recession.' With this, he has claimed that only 6 percent of farmers can sell their crops at the minimum support price (MSP). The special thing is that MSP is a big issue for discussion between the opposing farmers and the government.

Congress leader Chidambaram further said that, even after this, they claim that they have doubled the income of the farmers. They claim that all farmers will get MSP, but the truth is that only 6 percent of farmers can sell crops on MSP. During this, he also spoke on PM Modi to ignore the farmers. He alleged that PM cannot go up to 20 km to meet farmers.
