New Delhi: Dr. K.K. Agarwal (62), former National President of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Chief of the Heart Care Foundation and padma shri awardee, passed away at around 11.30pm on Monday due to corona infection. He was admitted to the trauma centre in AIIMS for the past several days. He was put on ventilator support three days ago due to ill health.
Agarwal had also taken both doses of the vaccine two months ago, but he was infected last month. Agarwal was awarded the Padma Shri in 2010. Dr K K Agarwal was admitted to the ICU of AIIMS after suffering from corona infection. Kk Agarwal had reported on his official Twitter handle on April 28 that he was infected with corona.
In this regard, it has been officially reported that Dr. K.K. Agarwal has passed away around 11.30 pm on May 17 due to corona virus infection. Since he became a doctor, he dedicated his life to people and health awareness.
