Jabalpur: A shocking incident is coming to the fore from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh where a woman got electrocuted while tying GI wire in the courtyard to dry clothes. When her son came to save the woman, he too got electrocuted. Both died due to electrocution.

According to Majhgawan police station, Rajaram Patail (49), a resident of village Pratappur, owns a grocery and flour mill. She had gone to the shop after having dinner at around 4 pm on Thursday. Her 18 year old son Abhishek had gone to play cricket. At around 8 pm, a person living in the village informed him that his wife Suman (40) and son Abhishek had been electrocuted. GI wire is wrapped around Abhishek's hand and wife's leg.

In the same courtyard, the wife was tying GI wire to dry clothes. Because of this, her son also returned home. Mother got electrocuted while tying the wire. The son went to save her. Both fell on the ground due to electrocution. Those who were taken to Sihora Hospital for treatment. The doctor declared both dead after preliminary examination. The police have taken the matter into consideration by sending the dead bodies for postmortem.
