Dehradun: Palanquin was about to rise after 2 weeks in the Chauhan family at Mehuwala in Dehradun. However, on Saturday morning, reports reached home that mourning had spread. The girl, who was on her way to Saharanpur to shop for a wedding with her parents and brothers, met with an accident. She died along with her parents in this heartbreaking accident in Mohand. The news of the accident turned the atmosphere of the entire village into mourning. Where it is found that Praveen Chauhan was working as a clerk in Jal Sansthan Pithuwala Division. His daughter Shilpi was to get married on December 19 and engage on December 15. It was Praveen Chauhan's holiday on Saturday. For several days, everyone had been planning to go to Saharanpur to collect goods.

Shilpi was supposed to get the wedding couple from there. While relatives also had to go to buy a lot of gifts and other items. The brothers were also determined to go and shop with Didi. But, laughing, the family was devastated in Mohand. According to reports, Praveen Chauhan was accompanied by his wife Manju, daughter Shilpi, son Dikshant and Nishant in the car on Saturday. After which he collided with an oncoming bus near Mohand at about 10.45 pm. Shilpi, Manju and Praveen Chauhan lost their lives in the accident. Praveen Chauhan's relative councillor Usha Chauhan and others have rushed to the spot as soon as the news of the death reached the village. The trio has been sent to Saharanpur district hospital for postmortem. After which their bodies have been kept in the mortuary of Shrimahant Indresh Hospital in Dehradun. Family members said that postmortem of 3 bodies will be conducted on Sunday.

Police said Praveen Chauhan was driving the WagonR car. The car collided directly with an oncoming bus between overtaking the vehicle near Mohand. The couple and daughter lost their lives on the spot in the accident. The Chauhan couple was on their way to Saharanpur to shop with the children for their daughter's wedding. He had taken three lakh rupees from home. Police recovered the money from the car after the accident.
