In Pakistan, today, 841 constituencies will be cast. However, elections in Pak's 8 National and Provincial Assembly constituencies have been postponed. Candidates are disqualified in an election area, whereas candidates contesting in the other seven have died.

Elections were postponed due to Haneef Abbasi, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the case. The Pakistan Election Commission (EPC) has postponed elections in PK-78 Peshawar, PP-87 Mianwali, PS-87 Malir, PK-99 Dera Ismail Khan, PB-35 Mentung, PP-103 and NA-106 Faisalabad constituencies. No Prime Minister in Pakistan has been able to complete his tenure of five years. In view of this, the importance of democratic elections can be understood. Let's know the ten important things in Pakistan's general elections

1. General elections in Pakistan will be from ballot paper only. Elections will begin at 8 AM and run till 6 PM. After 6 o'clock on the day of voting in Pakistan, employees present in the polling booth are put in the count of votes on the same spot.

2. Election results can start coming from 9 pm, although the condition will be clear after midnight.

3. According to the Pakistan Election Commission (ECCP), there are about 10.5 million registered voters in Pakistan. Every voter will vote for two seats, one from the National Assembly and the other provincial assembly.

4. Elections are being held in four provinces of Pakistan - Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh. There are 272 direct seats and 70 reserved seats in the National Assembly. The elections will be held only on direct seats.

5. In this way, any party will have to win at least 137 seats to form the government. The tri-fight in this election is between PML-N, PTI and PPP.

6. Shahbaz Sharif, brother of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) former PM Nawaz Sharif will also be fighting for the post.

7. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief pre-Cricketer Imran Khan will be included in the elections.

8. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, son of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is also in the line.

9. Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) is a coalition of all religious parties is also a candidate in Pakistan election.

10. Hafiz Saeed, who is included in the Global Terrorist list, has created 200 political candidates in the election grounds by creating a political party named Milli Muslim League. However this group has not got the EC's approval yet.
