Pakistan Army Chief Bajwa's confession: 'Rigged in election to make Imran Khan PM'

Islamabad: Imran Khan is facing a threat over government's chair in Pakistan. The entire opposition of Pakistan, Imran government, and army have rallied against atrocities. Pakistan's two major opposition parties Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) have come together against the Pakistani army over the rigging in the 2018 elections to bring Imran Khan to power.

On the opposition charges, Pakistani Army President General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that all the action of the Army was directed by the Constitution and in the interest of the country. Bajwa said all the action of the Army was directed by the Constitution and in the interest of the nation. Addressing the passing out parade of Jawans at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, the Pakistan Army chief said that the army will continue to support the government and ensure the security of our democratic values.

More than half of the 70 years of Pakistan's existence have been ruled by a powerful army and it has a lot of importance in matters relating to security and foreign policy. Bajwa's statement is believed to be a kind of confession that the army had manipulated the election to make Imran Khan a PM.
