On Monday, three pilots refused to fly three aircraft of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in India's neighboring Pakistan. These three aircraft were going from Islamabad to Gilgit and Skardu. The pilots alleged that the Pakistan Airline Pilots Association (PALPA) ignored the Coronavirus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), due to which two pilots and one cabin crew member tests positive for corona. . Palpa general secretary Imran Narejo told Pakistan's leading newspaper Dawn that our strike is on.

According to the media report, the association's officials say that no agreement can be made with the health of the pilots and crew members if the three members are found to be corona positive. If they are not provided with things for safety, then they will not fly the aircraft. In a letter to its members, Palpa stated that the safety of the pilots had been compromised and that the SOP related to coronoviruses ignored recent humanitarian flights. Due to which three members were infected.

On this matter, Palpa general secretary Imran Narejo told Pakistan's leading newspaper Dawn that our strike is on. No measures have been taken by the management regarding the safety of the pilots and other crew members as three pilots and three cabin crew members have been affected by the virus. He said that Palpa will not compromise the safety of its members under any circumstances.
