Lahore: Ever since Sourav Ganguly has been made the President of BCCI, he has taken many bold decisions beyond expectations which will have far-reaching impact not only on Indian cricket but the cricket of the world. Seeing their activism and positiveness, the expectations of cricketers from other countries have also increased from them. At the same time, former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif is looking towards Ganguly with a hopeful look for the restoration of Indo-Pak cricket.

Rashid has requested Sourav Ganguly to assist the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) so that India-Pakistan cricket relations can be restored. Former wicket-keeper batsman Rashid Latif said that even after the BCC's objection, it was Sourav Ganguly who played a key role in agreeing to India tour Pakistan in 2004.

Latif has said to The Nation of Pakistan that, "As a cricketer and BCCI president, Ganguly can help the favor money and the PCB. He said that" until the bilateral relations between the two nations are restored, both The situation between countries is not going to improve. PCB CEO Wasim Khan should also play an active role in this matter, so that the world's top cricketing nations come to Pakistan which will help Pakistan and local cricketers.
